Cultivé sur des vignes âgées de 47 à 62 ans, ce vin de de Bruno Clair révèle déjà une noblesse incroyable. Ce premier cru surprend souvent les amateurs de grands Bourgogne car il exprime une complexité très particulière et souvent supérieure aux Grands Crus. La bouche est très typée et puissante. Sa persistance est tout simplement interminable… vin de très grande garde, vous pourrez l’apprécier pendant les 20 prochaines années.

The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jacques offers up aromas of wild berries and plums mingled with orange zest, rose petals and violets. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and lively, with a fleshy core of fruit and sweet structuring tannins, it's another terrific cuvée from this reenergized domaine.Morris
Mid crimson. Super sensual straight away on the nose. Immediate natural class here, though not the most concentrated Clos St-Jacques. Once again, they seem to have hit the cusp of red and black. A fine long graceful finish. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted Nov 2024.Degustation
