Le Premier Cru Montmains a une typicité très marquée par son terroir, un terroir très caillouteux qui donne un vin aux arômes minéraux très prononcés, avec une puissance extraordinaire et une excellente aptitude au vieillissement. Un vin charpenté, nerveux et minéral d’une bonne longueur en bouche. Très droit et frais à la fois, il présente une concentration exemplaire. Accords mets-vins: Poissons, fruits de mer, crustacés crémés ou grillés. Volailles et viandes blanches crémées ou grillées.

Made up of all three parts of Montmains, mostly Forêts and Butteaux which is picked later. Currently cloudy but the Clear lemon and lime colour. Just a very light coquillage reduction. Then the wine builds a beautiful level of intensity on the palate, a lime thread, very salivating for its dry finish. An impeccable balance, this is faultless. And so persistent! Nothing heavy, nothing over sunny. Drink from 2027-2035. Tasted: June 2023.Degustation
