The 2022 Grand-Puy-Lacoste has turned out nicely in bottle, unwinding in the glass with aromas of cassis and plums mingled with notions of rose petal, tobacco leaf and pencil shavings. Grand-Puy-Lacoste se révèle avec prudence, avec tact. Et quand un vin de Pauillac se comporte ainsi, c'est qu'il a des ambitions dédiées à l'avenir, mais aussi à l'harmonie. En bouche, le vin est compact et élégant. Il peut compter sur l'appui de tannins précieux, compacts et aux grains fins qui impactent l'ensemble du palais, de manière uniforme et précise.
